As a pass holder working in Singapore, I never stop feeling driven to contribute to the republic by empowering people living the fullest to their potential through various activities. This service is going to be recognized as essential as food, and to help Singapore tap the novel opportunity and to largely thrive again in the pandemic crisis.

The whole world is suffering from unprecedented unemployment and social disharmony, in the background of Covid-19 still on its rampage in almost all nations. When latest general election shows declining support to ruling party, similar to other nations, I aspire to grow the instaHENG platform based in Singapore to restore the comprehensive understanding between individual and government/corporate entities into a best mental alignment. Isn’t mental strength replenishment a new essential service? It is time to tap into our unlimited intrinsic reserve through character affirmation on the 151 virtues to discover and unleash potential in the instaHENG campaign series. 

As a social enterprise campaign engine, InstaHENG is committed to restoring the mental strength among communities, because many still find life difficult and hopeless (indirectly affected their faith in government during the 2020 General Election). Despite a total of S$92.9b rolled out in financial support. In order to spot and seize the opportunities behind crisis, we need fully recognize the virtues we are born with and accept ourselves as we are, and adapt ourselves to the new norm.

InstaHENG is a campaign engine to engage people to recognize virtue remarks and behaviours in our daily life and more importantly, take virtue actions based on our daily observation. We hold monthly campaign on certain virtue which invite users to participate by daily check-in. The finalists in the campaign are to receive an invitation to a private "Luncheon with Executive" to exchange on the virtue life experience, and to work out plans on how to bring more positive changes to the society. Instead of liking or commenting on a news story, members of the instaHENG share to the world what virtues we see in the event, and some may pledge on virtues to their own daily life. This is a new way to resolve many social issues, as we spare the energy to argue or blame with others, but to work on our own perspective.

Our Objective: a city of good for virtue living and volunteerism.

1) a community where people live in fulfilment, regardless of age, race, language or religion;

2) a community where people take charge of their own happiness and stand for group transformation;

3) a home of causeless love for people to plant seeds, nurture virtues and discover callings;

4) a home of virtues where sense of isolation and retaliation give way to acceptance, which is a gateway to HENG*;

5) a community in transformation through collective interpretations which yield reconciliation;

6) a community of volunteerism across offices and families.

PS: “HENG” in ASEAN dialect refers to “bliss” or “good luck”. Studies show that once we accept ourselves as we are, we are immensely blessed with best fortune and utmost happiness.

Tab 2 – Why as of 6pm on 1 Dec 2019, before going to meet Angela in Changi

Can you imagine a world where people take in food without a good digestion?
Actually that's so widely happening in our learning experience, which curbs our progress.

In our urban life, majority of people are quite busy with multiple official or casual meetings in a day. There are so many campaigns telling us how much a seminar or training session could change our life, yet quite often nothing happens after the sessions we paid for.

It is like a situation that we take in meals without a solid digest system. However the superb nutrition a meal could bring to the body, the body could benefit at all without digestion.

The instaHENG team recognize the fact of malfunction of digestion and aim to function in a similar way. Be it reading of striking newspaper headline or listening to a favourite song, we encourage our users to choose one or two observations from overall happening of the day to be taken down and state the immediate feeling and interpretation at that time to each recorded happening. Self-reflections in this approach can transform our deeper understanding of the happenings and nurture our character by endorsing the people with various virtues we may put tag to.

Here are the three (3) foundation understanding we knew to be true before the idea inception of the website. From time to time we relook into this list to see if it still holds true. We hope it does and you can hold us to that too.

1. Completeness. 本自具足 Each and every human being is whole and complete as of any given moment. It is up to us to perceive the manifestation. Nobody is meant to pursue external being to voidly achieve inner peace and happiness.
   
   
2. Consciousness. 知行合一 We curate perspectives and advocate the translation of inspiration sparks into concreate deeds. We work with various education programs for participants to lodge what they observe and feel inside/outside programs, as well as interpretations, pledges, acts, reflections and so on, for a lasting state of self acceptance. This cycle would naturally brings in fulfilment.
3. Oneness. 自他不二 All religions are one, in terms of awakening love in our daily life while rest aspects are not the scope instaHENG to cover. InstaHENG takes stand of neutrality and Impartiality among members’ alignment to any religion
